Reportedly, Toyota unveiled HiAce in India once again at SIAM Bus and Special Vehicle Show, after the Delhi Auto Expo 2014. Down with the unveiling, it seems Japanese carmaker wants to launch that minivan here.
As going by the words of an official, it was been informed Toyota was studying the possibility of bringing that van here since past many days. Now, the analysis happens to be reaching the final phase.
However, the HiAce is a proper 10-seater, and runs on a 3.0-litre diesel engine 134bhp @ 3400rpm and 300Nm of torque @ 1200-2400rpm with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
In fact, a lot of equipments go inside the cabin as standard, even the rear AC vents. Safety features like airbags (for front driver and passenger) and ABS too make to the list.
Well, we believe the Indians will love HiAce in their own land. After all, it guarantees more utility than Innova and others. A call for the price is expected not to be taken so aggressively, instead an effective pricing route will be followed to sideline the rivals like Force Traveler and Tata Winger.
Toyota HiAce will follow CBU (completely built unit) rout to India if launched.
