The Toyota Kirloskar Motor recorded a growth of 7% in July this year. The company was able to sell around 14,574 units in July as compared to the 13,592 units sold during the same period last year.
Innova registered a growth of about 39% with 6,678 units being sold as compared to the 4,816 units sold in the same period last year. The Fortuner recorded an impressive growth of about 24%. It sold about 1316 units in month of July as compared to the 1060 units last year in the same month. Etios series sold about 6024 units when compared to the 6646 units in July last year. Corolla Altis sold about 540 units in July.
Toyota has recently revealed its new Liva TRD Sportivo, limited edition. This limited edition has been designed by the Toyota Racing Development, Japan and is dedicated to offer exclusive products targeting today’s youth. The vehicle is available in both petrol and diesel variants and will be priced at Rs. 5,23,691 lakhs for petrol and Rs. 6,32,281 for diesel variant.
According to Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing director, Marketing said that the growth the company is seeing is mainly based on the tough performance by Innova and Fortuner series sales. The Innova and Fortuner have shown consistency in their sale performance. He also added that there had been a drop in the sale of Etios series due to export of some units to South Africa. The launch of new Liva TRD Sportivo limited addition on occasion of first anniversary of EtiosLiva.
The new TRD limited Edition sports are embraced with several changes, that includes front bumper spoilers, two tone rear bumpers, aerodynamic side skirt, two tone roof spoiler etc. these sports package adds distinct look to the vehicle. The vehicle comes with 15″ alloy wheels with gun metal finish that gives sporty look to the vehicle.
