Toyota to Employ 4,000 Workers on Contract

Toyota is planning to hire around 4,000 workers on contract in Japan as they aim to make up their loss in production units, due to the earthquake and subsequent tsunami which struck Japan on March 11.

A statement released from the company said that they are expecting production to recover by October, in regards to domestic output, making up for delay in production as a result of the Japanese earthquake.

To meet this situation, they plan to hire around 3,000-4,000 workers on contract throughout Japan around mid-July.
