Just a few days after launching the Speed Twin in India, Triumph is lining up another product for launch here. This time it’s the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC and it would be launched on May 23 rd . Internationally the bike is available in two different variants – the base XC and the off-road XE. In India only the XC variant would be launched.
The Scrambler 1200 is built on the new double cradle chassis and comes with a 21-inch front wheel. For off-roading the bike uses Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres. Suspension duties are handled by 45mm fully adjustable Showa USD fork and a set of fully adjustable Ohlins dual shocks at the back.
The bike is powered by the same engine used on the Thruxton but in a different state of tune at 90HP, which is 7HP lower than hat the engine makes in Thruxton.
