The name was resurrected only last December, now Triumph is all set to launch the Triumph Speed Twin India on April 24 th. The Speed Twin 5T came out in 1938 and it helped Triumph make a strong comeback in the aftermath of World War II.
The new Speed Twin is powered by a 1200cc 97HP parallel twin- engine. Suspension duty is handled by KYB units both at the font and the rear. Brembo four-piston fixed calipers and 305mm discs at the front and twin Nissin calipers and 220mm discs at the rear does braking duties of the bike.
Pirelli Diablo Rosso III 17-inch tyres on both ends of the bike means its sporting capabilities gets enhanced.
