A few media reports indicate that TVS Motor has delivered 4,500 units of the BMW G310R to BMW Motorrad in the financial year 2016-17. The company aims to increase these numbers this fiscal with the launch of the G310R in India later in 2017.
The BMW G310R is the smallest BMW Motorrad motorcycle on sale now and was developed primarily for ndia, Brazil, and the ASEAN region. The platform and powertrain will also be used in an adventure tourer, the BMW G310GS, which was unveiled at EICMA 2016. The second bike was slated for a launch in 2017 but is now delayed with the possible date in 2018.
