Volkswagen launched the new special edition of Beetle Cabriolet by Karmann in Germany with prices starting from € 25,250.
Under the hoods it is powered by a 1.2l TSI (105 PS/77 KW) with manual gearbox for (€25,250) where the customers can also place their orders in all engine/gearbox variations.
Cosmetically, Beetle Cabriolet by Karmann is done with soft top in Sioux brown, supplied with a cover in a matching colour and is combinable with a total of seven exterior body colours. 18-inch Disc type wheels painted in Galvano Grey are matched to the mirror caps. The Karmann labels on the front wings marks its exclusivity.
Inside, the cabin remains a whole extravaganza of the Alcantara in Sioux brown, whereas the dashpad with “Beetle compartment” remains in matt structured aluminium look and pedals in aluminium look. The headrests, leather draped steering wheel, gear shift lever and handbrake grip (also in leather) featured grey decorative stitching. A wind deflector and “ParkPilot” parking distance control complete the overall package.
Likewise the Golf Cabriolet Karmann, the new special Volkswagen Beetle is a tribute to the Karmann coachwork makers which produced numerous Volkswagen cars from 1949 to 1980, from the Beetle Cabriolet and the Scirocco I and II through to the Golf Cabriolet.
