In order to strengthen its after sales service in the state, Volkswagen has opened a new workshop in the city of Kollam in Kerala. Located at Industrial Estate Road, Umayanalloor, the workshop is spread over 7500 sq ft of land.
A 26 member team will take care of things like general repair and servicing of cars, body work, paint etc. The workshop houses 24 bays and will also sell authorised Volkswagen spares to the customers.
Volkswagen is planning a series of new launches in India in the coming times and in order to increase sales and enhance customer experience, the company is planning to increase its footprint in the country by opening these workshops. Currently it has 118 showrooms in India and this number will only grow in the times to come.
