Volvo V40 Cross Country was in the hype for last some months and now finally the Swedish carmaker had rolled it out in India at Rs. 28.50 lakh ex showroom Delhi. Made available only in the diesel version, V40 Cross Country boasts a 2.0L D3 (diesel) engine churning out the maximum output of 150bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The powerhouse is mated to a 6 speed automatic gearbox and returns fuel efficiency of 16.8 kmpl at the best.
Very exclusively known for the best in safety features, Volvo’s V40 Cross Country is not an exception with things like Dynamic Stability, Traction Control, Laser Assisted Automatic Braking, whiplash protection and airbags at knee and curtain inclusive of SIPS (Side Impact Protection System).
Panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, leather upholstery, instrument cluster bolted in the 8-inch TFT display are some of the smart cosmetic tweaks that makes the Swede to stand competitively against the Germans rivals like BMW X1 and Audi Q3.
The officials of Volvo also claims that this model is pumped enough to wobble out the 0-100 kmph sprint in just 9.3 seconds, sounds amazing!
