Volvo has announced its first full mobility brand to rival Volkswagen’s Moia. Named Volvo M, the brand will be launched in Sweden in 2019. The M mobility brand’s aim is to harvest car ownership details and make use of latest technologies to customize user experience.
The M brand will work through an app and will include a select few Volvo cars in the beginning. There is word though that the brand will include all Volvo cars eventually. Volvo has been using this kind of schemes in Sweden for a long time and now it intends to spread it across the globe.
Recently a lot many manufacturers have launched similar car subscription services – Volkswagen’s Moia and JLR’s Carpe subscription scheme being the most important one of them.
