Called as T4 V40 Cross Country, the hatchback turned crossover is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder GDTi turbocharged engine sending 180bhp and 240Nm of torque via a six-speed automatic transmission.
Just like other cars of lineup, it too gets numerous safety tricks and treats. A one is knee air bag for driver, while others include active bending bi-xenon headlamps, side impact protection, City Safe Tech that charges the brakes to act more responsively at the time of collision and others.
List of features also proves endless. Buyers can choose from two-tone or single-tone leather theme, TFT screen, reverse parking camera (optional), 8-speaker music system and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Priced at Rs 27 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai, without octroi, V40 Cross Country petrol rakes up the competition against the entry-level models of Germans – Mercedes-Benz GLA, BMW 1-Series and Audi Q3.
