Volvo has launched its Volvo XC40 SUV in India starting at Rs.39.90 lakhs. The XC40 is now available for advance booking and you can book it by paying an amount of Rs.5 lakhs.
The XC40 carries the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel D4 engine which puts out a peak power of 194HP and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Based on customer response, the company would think of launching other engine variants in the future.
The XC$) would come with features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, wireless mobile phone charging, a 750-watt 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, Volvo’s 9.0-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a powered tailgate, and heated front and rear seats.
As with all Volvo cars, he XC40 would also see focussed approach on safety and would get things like lane-keeping assist, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control, pilot assist, emergency braking, ESP, traction control, hill descent control and eight airbags.
